Our aesthetics program has grown out of our award winning massage college and with our 1000 hour program, you have the opportunity to combine the best of both, earning licenses as an Aesthetician and a Master Massage Practitioner. Dual licensing gives you the most opportunities possible whether you choose to work for a spa or for yourself.

"Of all the knowledge, that most worth having is knowledge about health! The first requisite of a good life is to be a healthy person." ~ Herbert Spencer

In the Aesthetics / Master Massage Practitioner 1000 Hour program, you will first complete your 600 hour Natural Aesthetics program at SWINA, then upon completion you can transfer those hours into the Master Massage Practitioner 1000 Hour program at SWIHA as one of your specialties.

In addition to your Aesthetic specialty, you will take the required core classes for the Master Massage program including Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology, First Aid and Business Practices. You will also be required to practice massage therapy hands-on bodywork (including Swedish Massage, Myotherapy, Cranial Unwinding, and Deep Tissue Therapy or Release Point Therapy). You will have already completed 64 hours of holistic modalities from your course work at SWINA, plus you will have already completed the entire Spa Specialty. You will have the opportunity to choose other electives to round out your gifts. The most popular additional electives include Reiki, Pregnancy Massage, Nutrition Foundations and the introductory 20-hour course for Life Coaching.
