Our goal is to prepare students to take the State Board Test. The aesthetics program is designed to prepare students for the state licensing examination and for entry-level employment in salons, spas or clinical offices.

Students are required to participate in both theory education and "hands-on" practical work on fellow students, models and clientele. All students prepare for the Arizona State Board examination. In order to prepare students for the State Board Exam, clinic floor students are tested against Arizona State Board requirements on a routine basis. These examinations are referred to as Mock Boards and are as similar to the actual exam as possible in order to prepare students to obtain a license in Arizona.
